August 2023 Newsletter

Welcome to our August newsletter. It’s another bumper edition, with photos from our many recent social events.

Bloomsday has a four-page feature, thanks to the wonderful speech written by our librarian Cyril Kennedy, and a great selection of photos thanks to Tony Robertson.

There’s also a great feature on the history of the building Queensland Irish Association used to occupy at Elizabeth Street in Brisbane, researched by a history enthusiast on Facebook, John Prpic who runs the page Passing Time.
